The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace held a global conference to celebrate the International Day for Tolerance, under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. George Villa, President of the Republic of Malta. The conference was chaired by His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and in the presence of His Excellency Angelo Farugia, Speaker of the Maltese Parliament, and a group of officials, parliamentarians and world-renowned academics in the field of tolerance and peace, at the Verdala Palace Hall in the Republic of Malta. EML Ambassador of Peace in Albania Dr. Arben Ramkaj, also Executive Director of the Interreligious Institute and President of the Center for Interreligious Cooperation had been invited.
