QUITO, ECUADOR

Our Ambassador of Peace in Ecuador has been elected among the 500 influential Muslim in the World. Congratulations to Prof. Juan Yahya Suquillo for this important result by EML board and members.

 

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS

 

On the occasion of Barbados 55th anniversary of Independence and becoming a Republic this year on November 30th, the Government of Barbados has awarded our Ambassador of Peace Dr. Suleiman Bulbulia a National Honor, the ‘Silver Trident of Excellent’. The first Muslim in Barbados to receive a National Honor at this level. 

“For his strong commitment to seeing Barbados become a place of inclusivity and mutual respect and his contribution to bridging societal divides in underprivileged communities in Barbados and the region." To our representative in Barbados a special congratulations from EML board and all the members worldwide.

KONYA, TURKEY

Our Secretary General Dr. Yvonne Ridley participated in the city of Konya in Turkey in an important international conference organized for people who accepted Islam, which remains the fastest growing religion of new faithful.

LA VALLETTA, MALTA

The Global Council for Tolerance and Peace held a global conference to celebrate the International Day for Tolerance, under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. George Villa, President of the Republic of Malta. The conference was chaired by His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan, President of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace, and in the presence of His Excellency Angelo Farugia, Speaker of the Maltese Parliament, and a group of officials, parliamentarians and world-renowned academics in the field of tolerance and peace, at the Verdala Palace Hall in the Republic of Malta. EML Ambassador of Peace in Albania Dr. Arben Ramkaj, also Executive Director of the Interreligious Institute and President of the Center for Interreligious Cooperation had been invited. 

GENOVA, ITALY

 

On invitation of one section of Rotary in the Town of Genova, President of EML,  dott. Alfredo Maiolese had partecipated to a conference regarging the relations between Christians and Muslims. 

Here Alfredo Maiolese with some partecipants and the presence of Prof. Franco Cardini well know italian researcher. Presidente Maiolese thanks the members of Rotary and expecially Laywer Guido Biondi. 

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS

Our Ambassador of Peace, Prof. Suleiman Bulbulia met in Bridgetown the first Muslim President of Guyana H.E. Mohammed Irfaan Ali in the occasion of a UN Conference. Ambassador Bulbulia gave to the President of Guyana a copy of the book "Muslims of the Carribean Community".
