SUPPORT OF THE FREEDOM FLOTILLA

In Support of the Freedom Flotilla and International Law

We strongly condemn the unlawful and aggressive attack on the humanitarian vessel Conscience, part of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which was carrying essential aid to the besieged civilian population of Gaza. This assault, perpetrated in international waters, represents a grave violation of international law, including the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (Articles 87, 89, and 97), the Geneva Conventions, and the provisional measures issued by the International Court of Justice on January 26, 2024.

We express our full solidarity with Dr. Yvonne Ridley, Secretary General of the European Muslim League, and with all individuals who courageously uphold the principles of justice, dignity, and humanitarian assistance.

Delivering humanitarian aid is not a threat — it is both a moral imperative and a legal duty.
