The European Muslim League (EML), as a religious and diplomatic organization, raises its voice to denounce the grave violations of international law currently taking place in Gaza.
Health authorities report more than 60,000 victims and tens of thousands of wounded. The destruction of housing has reached 92% of residential infrastructure, rendering the Strip almost uninhabitable.
Our principle is clear: no State may, under international law, expel a people from its land or appropriate its property.
The Fourth Geneva Convention explicitly prohibits deportations, forced transfers, and the demolition of civilian housing. The justification of “counter-terrorism” does not legitimize such acts; rather, it aggravates them before the conscience of humanity.
The EML calls on all religious, political, and diplomatic leaders to uphold their moral responsibility by:
Defending human dignity and the inalienable rights of every person;
Condemning the systematic destruction of civilian homes;
Working for a just peace based not on injustice, but on mutual respect and international legality.
Issued by the Presidency – European Muslims League (EML)
